To celebrate the Lanzarote International Marathon there will be many events for children on the 7th December including a running race for children.
As last year, the children’s races will be organised by the Lanzarote International Marathon and will take place at Sands Beach Resort.
There will be four races starting with a shorter distance of 500m for children up to 6 years of age up to a 3km race for 15 to 17 year olds. In between these there will be a 1km race for children aged between 7 and 10, and a 2km race for children aged between 11 and 14.
Registration for the children’s races will take place at Buddy's Club at Sands Beach Resort from 11am on the 7th December. But hurry as the warm up for the races starts just 45 minutes later. After the warm up session the first race will be the 3km at 12 noon. The 500m race will be the last. You can find out more information by clicking here

Any child between the ages of 16 and 18 may take part in the main event of the Lanzarote International Marathon on the 8th December and run the 10km distance but parents must complete the parental consent form.
